His music is written with values and style of your favourite hard hitting rock and metal artists from the 80’s and he’s carrying the old school rock torch into the future! As one fan has pointed out, it’s music to not sit down to!

He has played alongside some of the biggest names in the music scene, including members of Our Lady Peace, Platinum Blonde, Von Groove, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, and has performed as an opening act for such great bands as Anvil, Sebastian Bach, and Buckcherry .

2024 - Ian K once again takes the stage supporting Sebastian Bach on his Child Within the Man tour, along with Kurt Deimer.

2023 - Ian K and his band hit the stage again with Buckcherry on their Canadian Tour.

2019 – Ian K., opening for Buckcherry on their Warpaint North American Tour (Peterborough, Ontario)

2019 – Ian K. releases “Those Days”, a 6 song EP featuring all new original music and "Loner" also featuring 6 original songs.

2018 – Ian K., opened for Sebastian Bach as part of Bach’s 2018 Canadian tour. 2018 also saw multiple single release leading up to a new EP for 2019.

2017 – Ian K., toured the U.S. and Canada, and released 11 songs from his recently recorded album “Just Like Me”.

2016 – ‘Your Hero’ went to 18 on the Top 100 European Indie charts.

February of 2015 – Ian K.’s first radio release ‘Linger’ broke the National Radio Airplay Top 50 Rock chart as measured by Digital Radio Tracker.
